Cambridge Rowers come to Newquay, 11th Nov 2005
Cambridge University Hawks, a club made up of students who have won 'Blues' at any of a variety of sports - made their way to Cornwall for an annual extreme sports outing last week. Following the increasing popularity of gig rowing across the country, the group decided to visit Newquay Rowing Club where they were made thoroughly welcome by club members before going out in two gigs to experience for themselves the excitement of gig racing.
