Lions Auction Evening
Newquay Lions Club held their annual Christmas auction of items destined, in most cases, for someone's Christmas Day stocking. The event, held at Newquay's Griffin Hotel, saw over 100 lots auctioned off to the highest bidders with numerous cuddly toys, drinks, curios and books going under the hammer of Lion Andy Cole. The evening, which included a free buffet for those attending, raised almost £1,000 with local causes being the beneficiaries.
