Postal Workers Strike
Postal Workers at Newquay sorting office have shown their support for the first national postal strike in more than a decade (July 2007). According to around 25 angry postal staff, who picketed the rear entrance of the East Street office in a bitter row over a 2.5% pay offer and working conditions, morale has never been so low.
