Was it our mothers who told us not to listen to rumours? Well, in the case of Newquay Amateur Dramatics Society's production of farcial comedy 'Rumours,' it's lucky that mother doesn't always know best. Rumours tells the tale of a group of dinner party guests who attend their joint friends' wedding anniversary only to find one host strangely absent and the others, let's say, in a bit of a daze. Newquay Cancer Research UK chairman Harry Everett receives a cheque for £757.10 from the Lane Theatre cast following their charity evening.
