Isles of Scilly Gig Crew Charity Row
An Isles of Scilly Gig Crew rowed over 60 miles for charity on Saturday 5 August when they left the harbour of St Mary's on Scilly at 1.30 am and arrived in Newquay Harbour that afternoon. The crew of Nathan Woodcock, Chris Jenkins, Paul Osborne, Derek Shave, Dave Mumford, Rob Carrier, Nick George and cox Ralph Handy along with support crew Neil Jenkins and Clive Stribley, completed the challenge for CLIC Sargent. The 1830s gig Bonnet got them safely across.
