We understand that sometimes there can be a lot to take in - so below we have
listed a number of "frequently asked questions" to help out. Of course, if you
have any other queries we
would love you to get in contact.
It usually takes 1 working day for us to process your order if paid in cash or immediately on card. The orders are sent out by first class Royal Mail delivery, and normally arrive the following day from sending.
Please note that if you choose to pay by cheque, this will delay the order, usually by 3 - 5 days.
If the order is time-sensitive (ie. a birthday present or anniversary), then please chat to us and we will always do our very best to complete it in time.
We use the latest in digital and optical technology, as well as years of experience to make sure every single print you take home is the best possible quality. We use a professional photographic lab to produce the prints themselves, using the latest Fujifilm equipment and media. We also quality assure every single print prior to you seeing it - but of course, should the unlikely event occur where you're not happy with your prints, we fully guarantee every one - so just let us know.
When ordering with Cornwall-Photos.com, whether it's Online, in person or over the phone, we give you the option to either collect from the showroom or receive your order by first class mail. All our prints are supplied in a presentational folder, and are also sent in a cardboard-backed protective envelope if posted.
Yes - when you place your order, just select the appropriate delivery option. Please note, that delivery time will be longer if sent overseas.
Our online ordering system is secured to the highest degree, using secure servers and 128 bit encryption as standard. Your card details are processed directly through a secure connection to our bank, so your payment details are never seen by Cornwall-Photos.com, and our employees. To verify our security, when ordering simply click the "padlock" at the bottom of your browser window. This will bring up full details of the security and encryption.
Of course, if you would prefer to order in person then please feel free to phone us, or pop in with the details.
If you are looking to purchase a large number of prints in one go, then we can usually agree a preferential discount on the prints. Please contact us on 0845 838 1108 or pop in and see us to discuss.
Simple answer to that - FOREVER. We will never delete your photos, and keep them on our servers and online forever. So, if you came back in 5 years time to order another photo - it'll still be there! We also have a full multiple-site backup regime, ensuring that your special images are completely safe in the event of data loss or hardware failure.
We are afraid that we are not able to provide any of our images as a digital copy. This is purely down to the fact that as photographers, we prefer to have control of what we produce.
We are very proud of our quality and feel of our prints, and unfortunately in the past we have had people printing their own copies (either at home or at a photo kiosk) of our images which are sub-standard. This then has inadvertently negatively reflected the quality of ours, and our affiliate's work.
However, for commercial customers we are able to offer a digital service for many of the photos offered on this site to use in marketing and publications. These are priced accordingly by request on 0845 838 1108.
Unfortunately, due to our town-centre location we are unable to provide parking for visitors to our showroom. However, Crantock Street does have a number of short-stay parking spaces (up to 1 hour during the Summer), and there is also a large car park just around the corner on St. George's Road. We are also within walking distance (2 minutes) from Newquay Bus Station. Please see the map of our location here.
We look after the catalogue and reselling of the photos from the Newquay Voice and St Austell Voice Photographers. Each week, they will upload the photos from the latest edition for you to view and purchase online.
If a photo does not appear online, this may be for a couple of reasons:
1. The photo was not taken by the paper, and was submitted alongside a press release or independently. Therefore, it's not theirs to sell.
2. If the photo was at a local School or Nursery, then these photos are not placed online. These, and normally many others taken but not necessarily published in the newspapers, are available to view in person at our Showroom at the bottom of Crantock Street, Newquay.
