Treviglas School Rocked for a full three non-stop hours on Thursday night as over 250 pupils, freinds and parents turned out to see ten live bands, all made up of students from the college and a few guests. The evening was the second of its type entitled Rock for Charity and had a great purpose behind the fun - to raise money for Cornwall Air Ambulance, Shelterbox, the RNLI and NSPCC. The brainchild of three students last year, Sam Skinner, James Gormley and Justin Chapman, they were all involved in setting up this years concert which was a great success. Teacher and self-confessed rock fan Louise Hawthorn said "This is young people at their best - not only showing that they are talented musicians but that they can organise an event and take things into their own hands. I look forward to Rock for Charity 3 next year!"
