A VERY generous offer of two months loan of an adaptability seat from rowing machine maker Concept 2 has resulted in a local chartered accountant from Newquay, Bob Smith, buying the specially designed seat for pupils who are partially impaired to use at Treviglas and Tretherras rowing clubs. Bob said ’I am pleased that the pupils are being given the chance of using modern Concept 2 rowing machines to keep fit and, if they wish, compete in competitions against others in the same category. With November being the month of disability awareness, and following up on the British success at the Paralympics, Newquay Schools are doing their part. Further information is available from head of PE at Treviglas - Matt Brooks.
