NYC kit to Egypt

Players and coaches from Newquay Youth Centre FC pose with some of the kits which have been worn over the past few years which the club are now sending across to Southern Egypt to benefit local schools in a very poor area and enable young people there to play football in full team strips, often for the first time ever. The kits will be going to the village school in Gharb Soheil on the west bank of the River Nile, close to the border with Sudan. The residemts there are of Nubian descent and the school teams will now be able to play their matches in the kits supplied by NYCFC.Andy Wilkins, one of the coaches of the NYCFC Under 12s teams who organised the shipping of the kits said "This is a brilliant way to be able to help young people in another country who are not as fortunate as our youngsters".The Under 12s will be putting two teams into the Kernow League this coming season and any young footballer who would like to come along and train with them during the next few weeks will be made very welcome.
