Youth Skate Project

Many Newquay skateboarders enjoyed the opening of a £7,000 mobile skate ramp at Wesley Methodist Church on Friday 8 June. The Newquay Christian Centre got funding from Cornwall Community Foundation.

Train hits car at Chapel

Emergency services raced to Chapel near Newquay after a car was crushed by a train on the level crossing on Tuesday June 12th 2007.

Colan Church tradition to be rectified

Reverend Chris McQuillen-Wright is keen to bring back some of the traditions at Colan Church near Newquay which was built in 1250.

Sonja´s Charity Thanks

Newquay cancer patient Sonja Ashton raised over £300 for MacMillan Cancer Support at The Griffin Inn during a charity evening in June 2007.
