A curled octopus has gone on display at Newquay's Blue Reef Aquarium after being landed by a fisherman using rod and line. The 20cms long octopus was caught during a fishing trip just off Newquay and Ianded by an angler on board Atlantis- a fishing boat based in the town's harbour....
Cornwall County Council has admitted that there is no guarantee that Newquay Airport modifications will be compleated in time for the August 2008 handover. The county council is set to take control of the airport from the RAF in August 2008 but have conceded that some work would have to be done 'at risk'....
